Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Webhook in Your High-Level Account

  1. Navigate to Automation

Open your high-level account and go to the automation section.

  2. Create a New Workflow

Click on “create a new workflow” to start setting up your webhook.

  3. Add a Contact Tag

Start with the first action by adding a contact tag. Use an existing one, such as “website lead.”

  4. Configure the Trigger

Click on the trigger option and type in “inbound web hook.” Select it to proceed.

  5. Leave the Workflow Open

Keep the workflow open since it cannot be saved until a lead is sent.

  6. Fetch Mapping Request

Once data is sent, click the fetch mapping request button to view the payload and select it.

  7. Save the Trigger

After selecting the data, save the trigger.

  8. Create a Contact

Use the “create contact” action to add the contact information fields: full name, email, and phone.

  9. Select Inbound Webhook Trigger

Ensure to select fields from the inbound webhook trigger for accurate data mapping.

  10. Add Contact Tag for Each Lead Type

Add specific tags for each lead type, like ASP, Summer Camp, EMA, etc.

  11. Duplicate Workflow for Each Group

Duplicate the workflow for each group or program, ensuring a unique inbound webhook for each.

  12. Send Data for Field Mapping

Send the data to map the fields and allow the trigger to be saved.

By following these steps, you can effectively create and manage webhooks in your high-level account, allowing for seamless lead integration from S1.
