
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Webhook in Your High-Level Account
Navigate to Automation
Open your high-level account and go to the automation section.
Create a New Workflow
Click on “create a new workflow” to start setting up your webhook.
Add a Contact Tag
Start with the first action by adding a contact tag. Use an existing one, such as “website lead.”
Configure the Trigger
Click on the trigger option and type in “inbound web hook.” Select it to proceed.
Leave the Workflow Open
Keep the workflow open since it cannot be saved until a lead is sent.
Fetch Mapping Request
Once data is sent, click the fetch mapping request button to view the payload and select it.
Save the Trigger
After selecting the data, save the trigger.
Create a Contact
Use the “create contact” action to add the contact information fields: full name, email, and phone.
Select Inbound Webhook Trigger
Ensure to select fields from the inbound webhook trigger for accurate data mapping.
Add Contact Tag for Each Lead Type
Add specific tags for each lead type, like ASP, Summer Camp, EMA, etc.
Duplicate Workflow for Each Group
Duplicate the workflow for each group or program, ensuring a unique inbound webhook for each.
Send Data for Field Mapping
Send the data to map the fields and allow the trigger to be saved.
By following these steps, you can effectively create and manage webhooks in your high-level account, allowing for seamless lead integration from S1.
